Big Koryazhma is a project involving Installation of a new paper machine in Koryazhma to supply domestically produced high-quality cut-size paper to the growing Russian market.
As a result of the project, Koryazhma has Russia's most advanced paper machine which produces more than 150,000 tons of cut-size paper in various sizes per year. In 2013 the company launched production of coated paper in addition to cut-size paper, making Ilim Group Russia's first and only manufacturer of this product. The project was approved by Ilim Group's Board of Directors on June 30, 2010.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has given this project priority status.

Target capacity: 150,000 tons of office paper in various consumer sizes; 90,000 tons of coated paper
The project created new jobs in the state-of-the-art workplace environment. International Paper mills in Svetogorsk (Russia) and Kwidzyn (Poland) provided special training for the employees to be engaged in operation and maintaince of the new modern equipment.
